Theoretical and Applied Sciences Unit (TASU)



The Theoretical and Applied Sciences Unit (TASU) was established in August 2018. TASU is associated with the Physics and Earth Sciences Division (PESD). The goal of the Unit is to pursue research in (a) basic theoretical sciences and (b) emerging interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary applied sciences.

The Unit is currently involved in (i) Bankline detection and monitoring techniques near Kaziranga National Park, Crop Health Monitoring, Identification of erosion prone region in Kaziranga National Park, and (ii) Air quality and Climate Change.
