This is the 6th edition of the Winter School on Mathematics organized by the Indian Statistical Institute, North-East Centre, Tezpur, Assam.
The first three editions were meant for undergraduate students, and the last two winter schools were organized for the postgraduate students of the north-eastern states and participation was through nominations by the respective head of the departments.
Due to the pandemic situation, last year the programme was organized through online mode and this year we are holding it in the offline mode.
Like previous years, it is envisaged that the winter school will help popularizing Mathematics and allied subjects as a career option. The event will provide the participants with an exposure to some concepts of higher level Mathematics.
